My internet connection was stable again since yesterday, and guess what. I'm still using the 1Mbps package but the download speed was doubled to 2Mbps! Way to go streamyx! Let's see what's gonna happen when we upgrade to 4Mbps soon.

Even a few local forums (lowyat.net anyone?) have been bombarded with rants of streamyx downtime for this past couple of days. i've read something about some sort of service upgrade at Cyberjaya, but... that shouldn't be affecting mine so much. and yet it did.

My dad wants to upgrade our connection to 4Mbps from our original 1Mbps. Let's see how my speed goes from there. 1Mbps i can only get about as high as 130kbps *no shit*, so I'm curious as to how much a 4Mbps can do.

Oh and just for the sake of posting this, I had to refresh my IP once to load this Post an Entry browser, and another refresh again to publish them coz my connection dies every 5 minutes. Hell yeah.

Metrofon sounds like a good alternative but alas... Penang only?

*sigh* other countries are already enjoying more than 10Mbps so why not here. *stabs stabs stabs*

In 8 hours, there will be a Matsujun Birthday Bash in Sunway Pyramid's Sushi Groove. Luckily it's in Pyramid, so I could attend it properly this time. But yeah, meeting online people for the first time is kinda... intimidating... for lack of a better word. I already met one last time, but I was timed by my mom since I had to pick up my sister from kindergarden... so it was really rushed. Gomen ne, Rae. I've been sulking a lot today. Just now I had a little disagreement with my sister. I took away this one fluffy pillow which I bought recently. But she thought that its hers since one of our brother took hers away to his hostel. I don't want to gave up in this battle so I took a stand. Out of anger she then scrub her eraser and flung the dirt over my side of the bed *she always did her assignment on the bed*. Though its kinda funny... fighting over a pillow. But I'm not laughing right now. I'll go and sulk again.

I Maou-fied my lj layout. but i think right now i have horrible colour sense. i can't pick a good colour combination. it's been a while since i touch photoshop. i'm getting rusty... again. >.<

i'll fix it later when i have the time. just hope this layout doesn't stuck for the whole Maou season like my Osen layout. i need new layout scheme!

Yesterday (since its already after 12) was my brother's birthday. It's like a tradition in my family if there's birthdays, there's pizza. We don't usually buy cakes, only the younger sibling under 12 years old gets cake. So we substitute cake with pizza for the older ones. No... we don't stuck birthday candles on the pizzas, but that's a thought. Maybe we should try and do it. Now that I think about it, my other brother is having his birthday in 4 days. Since this brother is under 12... he gets a cake. Ooooooh.... which means, this weekend we are getting both pizzas and cakes. Yay~ (we are also the type of family that combines birthday celebration).

Hope my dad gets the right cake this time. Last time he bought a 100% chocolate cake. I loooove chocolate, but too much of chocolate makes me puke.

Okeh! Since Maou now have subs, I'm gonna watch it again.

Ojou-sama is finally awake! Yatta~ it cost about RM600++ (about 184USD) to fix it up. I changed the casing and installed extra cooling system in it. So no more overheat for now. Though i still haven't gotten my 500g hdd yet. It's almost been a week already, and that person promised me a week. So if until next week there's no news about it, I'll go to that shop and have a hissy fit there. I hope to upgrade to 2g RAM by next month if my allowance is cleared. That or my brother suddenly turned saint and gives me his 2g RAM when he upgraded to 4g. *crossing fingers*

I missed fandom so much. i was two weeks away from anything lj (minus the hiatus entry i put up last week) so it was very weird having to go stalking lj again. currently i'm on my 400th f-list post and i'm all cross-eyed having to read updates on lots of stuff (divide it by 20 and you'll get how many pages i had to go through). i know i should just pick one group to flail over but no.... i JUST have to flail like almost the whole Johnnys Tribe. So if aything, i'm blaming myself.

I admit I'm very much surprised seeing lots of videos comes out when i was away. L Change the World for example. And Zettai Kareshi being completed. Osen completed (i don't hate the ending but hate the way it ends). Hanadan SP which I still yet to watch. Maou TFP etc...

Talking about Maou, I'm completely head over heels with the way Riida behaves on TFP. I swear my tummy was doing somersaults each time Oh-chan bit his tongue. THAT MAN IS SEXY!! *gomen, aiba... let me flail on Riida for a while* and August Myojo isn't helping me at all! i was flipping through pages and the Arashi section just kept haunting me. The most jaw dropping for me was Oh-chan's body. I was like... was all these muscles there before? Aiba was sexy too in that photoshoot. XDDD I didn't even notice when I fall asleep because when I was awake, I had that Myojo under my hand and on top of Nino's page. LOL. Lucky me the magazine was okay. I don't move too much when I'm sleeping.

Apparently, 400th f-list posts are my limit. I'm actually surprised I could go on pass 100th posts. Now I couldn't go on anymore... so I'll check communities one by one when I have the chance. And I'll start commenting on friend's journal soon! Lots of catching up to do here. Real life is getting kinda hectic too. My dad just dumped me his accounts *again* for me to do and there's like a lot of stocks I need to settle before I could close the stock for June. Mind you, I'm not an accounting major, nor I learned accounting in any way. Good thing I'm pretty good with math with the help of Mr. Calculator. And then... a friend just asks me to join her team in winning some company grant which worth A LOT. So i kinda got baited with the money and I agreed. Which means, I had to stall my Masters again since undergoing postgraduate studies aren't allowed to enter the competition. I'll think of a way to make things work with me.

Hiatus Mode ON!

I'm forced to lay low from fandom and anything internet/pc related for awhile (probably until this Sunday).

My Ojou-sama officially KO-ed. After a full blown inspection from my PC geek of a brother, he diagnosed that the cooler was fried, which resulted in the overheating; and Ojou-sama's power supply is not strong enough to support it. So now I have to fork out more money to buy a new power supply, a cooler and heat sink. T_T

And just to add more to Ojou-sama's injury, one of the partition from the new hard disk crashed so I lost some new stuff I downloaded. Thank god its something I can re-download so its nothing big. I almost lost my timing for a HnA episode which I'm almost done too but I manage to grab it and sent it to back up before the hard disk crashed. I'll cry if I have to re-do that back.

So currently I am using my sister's PC, the super slow and super freaky PC with lots of Garfield icons. I wouldn't mind using it if it wasn't for the Garfield icons and Garfield horror game screen savers. This was my original PC before I got Ojou-sama. But no. I rather have no PC until Sunday. I'm typing as fast as I could so I would be spare from the freaky-ness. I don't hate Garfield though, because I love it once. I grew out of it. XD But still, its freaky. And I don't have the patience to wait for page loading since its super slow.

Well that's that. Until my Ojou-sama wakes up, I wont be online for awhile. Will miss all you f-list! Take care and ganbatte in whatever you girls are doing right now.

I bet theres 12738162 posts today regarding One Love PV. I practically wake up today having the PV shoved at my face. Hahaha. Thanks salwaphoenix!

The one thing that I dislike about the PV is the filter. Of course the outcome fills up nicely because its 100% CG... but seriously, its either the editor is on time constraint or he is lazy. There's some parts with empty spaces too.

I should stop being critical with videos. *laughs*

I've been playing the song for 3 hours straight already. On loop. I'm aiming to remember the lyrics by tomorrow. *deadpan*

Is it just me or Matsujun looks like a girl in the PV. Well... in some parts anyway.

Other than enhancing the colours, I did nothing else. I swear!

That's why I hate this filter. They can screw up edges pretty bad.

The Day I Watch HSJ Debut Con

And just like the title stated... I watched HSJ Debut First Concert just now.

It was... amazing imo. It's not because I was Inoo / Chinen baited, but I really thought that it was a great one. The only annoyance to me is the over-use of Ultra Music Power. I stop counting after the third time they sang it. Doesn't matter if they sang it in full, medley or the ballad version... UMP is UMP.

Seeing all those juniors together at one stage made my day too. My eyes darted around trying to look for Senga or Totsu... there's too many juniors around to actually notice them but I'm glad that they have their camera moments. ♥

Okay... just where did I saw this dragon before....

I think I over-capped Chinen. Hehe. And I capped Yamada more since I know someone would love it. *pokes pokes*

Believe it or not, this is only from the intro to the end of the opening song. Next one is where the juniors joins in. I like how they separate ABC and Kisumai from the juniors. And Question? as their on-stage band. I haven't had the time to upload that part.'s caps.. as it's too many already.

Highlights:
1. Lots of cars, bikes, and a 4WD. Very teenage-ppoi. Explotions. Woah.
2. Takaki in a face-covered helmet did a jump over a ramp with a bike.... though I doubt that its actually him.
3. Chinen did a bungee jump from the big balloon. And continues on jumping after reaching the ground. Sure looks fun.
4. Inoo played the piano during one of their songs. ♥ (you just stole my heart right there Inoo-chan)
5. Yuto stole Yodogawa's drum sticks and hit some beats. *jawdrop* (i can't help myself when it comes to drums)
6. Ryutaro and Daiki did a short butai-ish samurai-ish skit, which involves Shintaro being captured by the big bad dragon. *onii-chan to the rescue eh?*
7. Special performance by ABC, Kisumai, Question? and Hashimoto and the gang. (btw... Kisumai... very HOT).
8. All ABC got hanged upside down. Half of them top-naked.
9. HSJ did some V6 / Arashi / NewS medley. (the volleyball idols. rawr) Oh, they did Real Face too. And a Shounentai song.
10. Papa Okamoto appearance. I wonder why Keito doesn't look like him. Either way, Keito is cute.
11. Sho and Inocchi was there. And Sho's suprised face when he heard Chinen started singing A.Ra.shi... that's good enough to watch ne?

So now, real-life bits.

Yesterday, I had a fun time going out meeting a group of friends. We had a nice lunch at Pyramid's Secret Recipe and talk like the whole place is ours. We took lots of pictures too. We just love to cam whore. After that.. we all march to the Purikura place and had ourselves packed in a booth and posed. Let's see... 10 of us in one purikura booth. Can you imagine? When the picture was developed, it seems that we don't have to choose any background since our faces already compressed the whole frame. LOL

We sure are a loud bunch. Let freaking do it again!

I don't know if anyone experienced this before... but my MU DL sometimes don't finish downloading although the download bar says done. And I have to re-DL the same thing all over again. Which is suck.

Don't get me started with MF. I read somewhere about there's a 99.9% curse going on with MF. Having experienced it oftenly nowadays... I don't prefer it anymore. It used to be my favourite server. Well, not anymore.

Fanboy!Chinen is so adorable. You can tell by how the conversation goes that the kid really really admires Riida. Oh yes baby. I'm talking about Abunai Houkago. Sure it's clichéd, sure the plot is not strong, sure it can be better. But being as bias as a fangirl can be... I decided to give this drama a pimp out.

I manage to finish watching the whole series. And though it's predictable how the end would be... I didn't mind it at all. (plus the moment of pervi-ness involving a certain pink garment *cough*underwear*cough* XD)

Nino plays Katsuyuki, the genius in his high school; had his life turned upside down when his mother decided to remarries a widow with a son of his own Haru; played by Subaru. Haru is outgoing, mischievous and likes to goof around where Katsuyuki is the complete opposite of that, being stubborn, level headed, and no nonsense type of guy.

Here's a few caps of episode 1, episode 2 and episode 11 (final). I'm still sane enough to not cap the whole series in one post.

The introduction begins. Katsuyuki met Haru for the 2nd time that day. He looked surprised because their first meeting was... not an eventful one.

To make things worst for Katsuyuki, they shared the same class AND sit next to each other.

SO BEHOLD THE PERVY-NESS THAT MAKES EPISODE 2 ENJOYABLE!

Katsu was dumb enough in episode 2 to go for fortune telling. Result... he was told to wear something pink for good luck.

Since he is trying hard to confess to a girl he likes (this dude is pretty much a moron when it comes to girls) Nino Katsuyuki chose (of all things pink) a PINK briefs for his good luck to shine.

And his luck begins that day with Haru peeping him wearing his very MANLY underwear.

Good luck? I don't think so Katsuyuki dear.

And being mischievous, Haru picked on him about it. See guys! DON'T WEAR PINK BRIEFS. EVER!

I skipped the rest of the episodes because basically everything that happened is almost the same anyways. Halfway through the series, Haru somehow gotten to like the same girl as the one that Katsuyuki likes, and Haru knows quite well how his step brother likes the girl. The girl that they both like had gotten into an accident (in which Haru totally blamed Katsu because it happened during Katsu and the girl went out for a date).

The girl having feelings for Katsu decides to confess. It was raining. And Katsu was late to their supposed meeting place because he have some doubts. So the girl called Haru.

And Haru seeing the girl being stood up by his step brother can't contain his feelings any longer. He HUGGED the girl. (I refuse to cap the hugging part *shoots evil stares at Kato Ai*)

Katsu arrived just in time to see his dream girl in the arms of someone else. Heart broken, he just stood and stares.

But all bad things comes to an end. I wont say who have the girl, because it would like totally spoiling it. But I'll end it up nicely with this cap.

GAH! CUTENESS!!!

I don't want to tell you how many times Firefox crashes on me (lets just say, enough to have me starts swearing and whacking the monitor) but I manage to finish posting. YAY!

I love this song! Even a friend of mine who don't like japanese stuff loves this song too. That had to count for something. I've been looping it in my playlist enough to make my siblings crazy.

This is actually my second subbing attempt. My first attempt is currently being check by my friend. I did this one variety show which some of Hana Kimi casts battles Shiritori (3 letter game) with Chibi Maruko-chan and Harisenbon. (just in time with the buzz of Hana Kimi SP) LOL

I translate it myself so it's a kind of like a study session for me. XD

Who ever says subbing is addictive... seriously. *nods*

The ever so famous LJ-strike

As plenty of you already notice, most of LJ users will be doing a content strike on March 21st (tomorrow) from midnight to midnight. More infos on beckyzoole's journal.

I don't think I'll be joining the strike. But I have too much things to settle anyways. With or without the strike... I don't think I'll be posting anything tomorrow.

I don't really see the effect of a one day strike. A week maybe... but I'm intrigue to see the results of all this drama.

I better settled my to-do list thats been pending all this while.

It came on the post today!! *hyperventilating*

My first JE-related items came!! I'm so happy that my mind went blank when I hold them all.

All three packages (Arashi + NewS + KAT-TUN Calendar) came together truly pumps me up! I already opened them and OMG Arashi's looks like an organizer... and the cookbook is ♥ but the recipes is in Nihongo and I can't read kanji so I'm a bit bummed over that.

KAT-TUN's calendar book is pretty... And the pictures are great! The eco bag however is too small in my opinion so I don't see the purpose of using it. I might as well framed it and hang it on my wall.

I haven't set up my NewS Calendar for fear I might spoiled it. Ah... the dilemma of a fangirl. Oh well.

I'm back to the fandom!

I miss everyone... and the fandom itself. I haven't update myself yet... but I couldn't start right away because my PC will be formatted soon. I'm reverting back to XP because Vista slows down my PC too much. It's pretty and all... but it strains me a lot. And I have another two PCs to be formatted (I'm only helping... my brother is doing all the work --- but still...) so I can't use my own PC right now.

Arashi's Summer Tour 2007 is available on pre-order. Here's play-asia and yesasia. I really would love to have this... but I'm afraid that my DVD player can't play region 2 DVDs. So I'm still thinking things over.

Currently, I'm on a mission to finish off Abunai Houkago. Nino and Baru is so cute! And so young! Sadly there's no english subs (only chinese) but I manage to get my hands on a RAW version so I'll watch those. The storyline is just ok.... but I'd watch anything with a Johnnys in it. (typical fangirl I know)

I still have some stuff to take care off... so I'll be stalking your lovely journals later.

Short Hiatus Announcement

I was kinda forced by my mum to go along with the rest of the family back to our dad's hometown; 4 hours away from where our home is for about 2-3 days. So here I'm announcing my short hiatus from LJ because I wont have any internet connection for those days I went away.

I know I could update easily with my phone but typing on the phone is just not the same as typing like this.

I just hope my calendars will arrive after I come back home. T_T

2-3 days is short, but knowing my dad... we could go on straight for a week because it's currently school holidays over here. I'd love to do some shopping over there, I need some new clothes (one of the reasons why I agreed to go in the first place).

So yeah. I'll be back whenever I'm back.
